Beta testing of Impulsar means intensive use of an almost finished version of the product in order to identify the maximum number of errors in its operation for their further elimination before the final release of the product to the mass consumer.

The beta version is not the final version of the product, so the developer does not guarantee the complete absence of errors in the operation of the device.

The project team warns that the number of available copies of the smart bracelet is limited.

Capabilities of the first sample Impulsar

  • Collection and logging of indicators of heart rate, emotional state, body position in space
  • Identification and notification of the person's location at the time of the attack
  • Analysis of the causes of the development of an epileptic attack

The price of the test sample

The price of access to the beta version of the product is from UAH 700 to UAH 1,000. (The price may change depending on the dollar exchange rate). The exact price and conditions will be sent to participants before the start of the test.

BONUS for test participants: all future software updates will be priced at UAH 0.

Requirements for volunteers

  • A person with epilepsy or autism, mixed type (epi + ras).

  • Smartphone with Android OS.

  • If the child has autism or epilepsy, the questionnaire is filled out by one of the parents or a guardian (and it is he who will use the mobile application and monitor the child’s condition). In other cases, the age is not limited.

  • Agree with the cost of the test sample.

  • Agrees to data processing.

* All user data is depersonalized and encrypted. Neither we nor anyone else will be able to determine or find out your data. There will be a general collection of user information about the operation of the device for its improvement.

  • Compliance with the order, procedures and rules of testing.

Conducting procedure

  1. Filling out the volunteer questionnaire.
  2. Informed Consent Review (contains full information about upcoming beta testing).
  3. Signing the informed consent form with a representative of the Impulsar team.
  4. Payment of the access fee.
  5. Delivery of media to a volunteer + sending instructions for installing the mobile application.
  6. A volunteer’s report on the operation of the device.

Testing procedure

  • The tester receives a smart bracelet, access to the mobile application, instructions and a charging device.
  • The tester studies the instructions and configures the smart bracelet and mobile application.
  • The tester uses a smart bracelet and a mobile application 24/7 (removal is possible only for recharging the test sample).
  • The tester sends (as needed, but at least once a week) reports on the beta version and the bugs found via the mobile application.

Rights of volunteers

  1. Choose whether or not to participate in beta testing.
  2. The opportunity to ask the representatives of the project team all the questions, get answers and have enough time to make a decision.
  3. To receive all the necessary information related to testing, in full and in an accessible form.
  4. On the confidentiality of personal data.
  5. To replace the device in case of its failure (according to the warranty letter).
