IMPULSAR

Software for people with mental disorders (epilepsy, autism and dementia)

We are the Impulsar team

And we created software to alert people with mental disorders (epilepsy, autism, dementia) about the possibility of developing a crisis state.

Artificial intelligence monitors more than 12 factors of the user’s physical and social activity and behavior in order to detect abnormal reactions or crisis situations that require an immediate response.

Artificial intelligence receives information for monitoring from a fitness tracker, smart watch or other wearable device with the necessary functionality and from a mobile application on a smartphone.

What does a person with a mental disorder feel?

Self-rejection, alienation, shame, anxiety, fear, loneliness, helplessness, bitterness, misunderstanding, irritation, pain, anger, inferiority, disappointment.

Statistics

World Health Organization

150 800 people in the world die annually from the consequences of living with epilepsy. Causes: sudden death, asphyxia, brain injury, heart attack, suffocation.

According to the WHO, young people suffering from active epilepsy die 3 times more often than their peers.

WHY IMPULSAR?

  1. To adapt and socialize people with epilepsy and autism.
  2. Control and influence epileptic seizures.
  3. Development of a new pattern of behavior of a child with autism (behavioral therapy) with the help of software that will detect reactions to certain situations (causing agents of aggression).
  4. Doctors will receive data for early diagnosis of dementia and potentially curable conditions in this disease.
  5. The doctor has indicators of the effectiveness of the prescribed therapy for epilepsy.

how does impulsar work?

the wearable device and the mobile application transmit data

A fitness tracker, smart watch or other wearable device with the necessary functionality (sensors on the body) together with a mobile application on a smartphone transmits depersonalized data about the state of the body to artificial intelligence.

artificial intelligence processes the data

Artificial intelligence monitors more than 25 factors of the user's physical and social activity and behavior in order to detect abnormal reactions or crisis situations that require an immediate response.

user notification

The user will receive a notification about the probability of the development of a crisis state in the mobile application. This allows a person to protect themselves and take other measures to prevent an attack.

State analysis for the period

Artificial intelligence Impulsar, which detects the patterns of an attack or crisis, displays these forecasts in a mobile application on a smartphone in the form of an understandable infographic with the option of choosing a specific time period.

relatives receive location coordinates

The mobile application has the ability to create emergency contacts. These contacts will receive a message or call to the phone with the coordinates of the person's location in the event of a crisis.

possibilities of impulsar

Warning about the probability of the development of a crisis state
individual statistics:

Pulse
Emotional state
Sleep monitoring
Mode of the day

Analysis of the reasons for the development of crisis situations
Determination and notification of relatives and friends about the location of the person at the time of the attack
Keeping a psycho-emotional state diary
Integration with the eHealth system

Advantages

  • Advance warning about the probability of a crisis (within 15 minutes to 7 days).
  • Affordable and competitive price.
  • Ease of use.
  • Scaling for all types of epilepsy (120 types).
  • Constant updating and improving the quality of data analysis (artificial intelligence independently learns and adapts to each user, increasing the accuracy of forecasts).
  • Integration with the eHealth system.
  • Access to the database about the state of the user’s body (medical big data).

WHY ARE WE ENGAGED IN PROJECT IMPULSAR?

The initial goal was to help our relatives diagnosed with epilepsy and autism. It was also crucial to have a technical understanding of project implementation.

Before the start in 2018, we nurtured this idea for a year and did not believe that we would be able to launch the project.

The project is 2 years old, and during this period we have often heard a negative pattern in our direction, as if all this is to get money from sick people and deceive them.

We openly share with you why we are working on a smart bracelet and how things are going now, since the Impulsar project is primarily for people.
